Knives

I was reading Mrs Matzoman's Good Housekeeping magazine last night.  As I thumbed through the sections on how to wear a corset; the relative merits of 6" stilettos as opposed to ordinary shoes and what organic cranberry jelly to buy for Christmas, I came across a review of the different knives available for the kitchen.

One make got 8/10 with lots of good comments.  The only negative comment was that it didn't come with instructions !  Now I might be missing the point here, but if you buy a kitchen knife, do you need instructions on how to use it ?

Well excuse me for being picky but if you pick up the wrong end it can be pretty nasty when someone takes the knife from you..... ouch!
