Why is it that workers on any sort of site, be it road side or construction, seem to turn their hard hats round so that the peak is at the back ?
Is it to ward of the effects of the sun's rays ? Is it to protect their necks when it rains ?
Tell you something though, I bet it compromises the resistant effects of the hard hat and when something falls on the head of the wearer, I bet it distributes the shock loading in a different manner from that intended.
How long will it be before the wearer sues the manufacturer for injuries caused by incorrect wearing ?
Interesting to know.
